The form of the site changes

Post by rahim50 »

As incredible as it may seem, the two doctors mentioned above unintentionally drew a beautiful allegory of what we do when pruning content.

Just like pruning trees, the main objective when doing content pruning is to improve the development of the ecosystem where the content is inserted, that is, a website or blog.

After pruning:

the form of the site changes - it now has less content, but the Bolivia Email List content that remains has more quality;
the website can produce more, or generate more fruits - by eliminating irrelevant content, the chances of the website attracting more readers and being better ranked by Google also increase;
and the strength and health of the site are maintained - this is the main objective of content pruning, by strengthening the existing content on a site, prioritizing those that have the most robust performance or relevance.
And what content should be eliminated or optimized during pruning?

Just like in agronomy, these are old content (from the previous cycle), which are weak or unhealthy (perform poorly within the site's objectives) or are in excessive quantity (for example, they seem like copies of other content, which end up cannibalizing those contents) .

These contents that need to be pruned work like those dry, dead branches that are preventing a plant (or site) from growing and flourishing.
